Sausage Balls


2 C. bisquick
1/2 C. cold water
1 lb. sausage (cooked & drained)
1/2 C. shredded cheese

Mix all ingredients and roll into small balls.  Bake at 400 until done, about 15 minutes.

Coffee Cake


3 cups & 2 TBL flour
3/4 cups & 3 TBL brown sugar
3/4 cups & 3 TBL sugar
1 1/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cups & 2 TBL oil

Mix together until crumbly.  Save 1/4 cup for topping.

1 cup milk
1 TBL & 1 tsp vinegar
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 tsp baking powder

Mix together.  Stir in crumb mixture stir well.  Pour in a greased sheet pan, sprinkle the saved crumb mix over the cake.  Bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes.

Light as a Feather Doughnuts


3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. warm water
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 pkg. Yeast

Mix milk, butter, sugar and salt in pan, put on low until butter is melted.  Take off stove.  Add yeast to warm water and let stand.  Beat eggs and add to the first mixture, add yeast and stir well.  Add flour until right texture.  Place on floured board and kneed.  Place in bowl and let stand until double in size.  take out and roll out to about 3/4" thick.  Cut out with doughnut cutter and place into hot shortening for about 1-2 minutes.

Baked Custard French Toast

6 slices of bread
3 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup pancake syrup
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
salt to taste
Spray 9x13 in. pan, lay bread in single layer in pan.
Beat eggs, add milk, syrup, oil, cinnamon & vanilla and pour over bread.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 min.  Serve with syrup and enjoy!!!
